Information Announcement about

St. John Cemetery

April 17, 2021

Dear Friends of St. John’s:

Many of the history makers, of our community, are resting in St. John’s Church Cemetery.

The Coronovirus continues to affect all of us and this Cemetery is no exception.  We follow the

BAO  (Bereavement Authority of Ontario)  guidelines regarding funerals and burials.   Provincial

restrictions, often change, and as a cemetery, we adhere to their rulings.

Again, this year we will have to postpone our Annual Memorial Service until further notice.  Your

support continues to keep the grounds in good condition and allows us to maintain the graveyard.

You may have noticed that three benches have been refurbished, thanks to a church parishioner.

St. John’s Church Cemetery continues to look beautiful and one that you can visit, to sit for awhile or

just walk about and reflect.

The St. John’s Church Chapel will also remain closed until further notice.  This will be the second year

that we have been unable to hold summer even services on Saturdays, baptisms, weddings and funerals.

Thank you for your continued support and donations.
